RIPE LIR Services
The Blahaj Cloud RIPE LIR Services allow you to request the assignment and allocation of IPv4 and IPv6 IP space as well as ASNs for use in the RIPE region
Self-service creation of End Users is currently only available for natural persons, not legal entities. Further, ASN and IP requests need to be submitted to us via support and are not available via the console.
Creating an End User
Before you can request an assignment or allocation, you will need to create an End User in the Blahaj Cloud Console.
Identity Verification
For natural person end users, after entering the End User details the identity needs to be verified. For this, a government-issued identity document (such as a identity card, passport or drivers license) needs to be submitted along with a selfie video. The name on the identity document must match the name on the RIPE org object, however middle names may be ommitted (for example, Maria Felicitas Annika Merkel equals Maria Merkel for this purpose).
Sole traders may add "trading as [trade name]" to their org name, however this requires additional verification which is only possible via our support rather than our console.
End User Assignment Agreement
As the last step, the End User needs to sign an End User Assignment Agreement meeting the RIPE NCC requirements. First, you need to enter the place of signature. Then, you will
need to place an EU eIDAS Qualified Electronic Signature by verifying your identity with an EU-certified Trust Service Provider.
If you already have an account with a Trust Service Provider, please select that Trust Service Provider for verifying your signature. If you have a qualified signature certificate on a signature card or ID card, please select Local Certificate. If you do not already have a qualified signing credential, please select Adacom, which will let you upload pictures of your
government-issued identity document along with a video selfie to issue a one-time temporary signing credential and create the qualified signature.
Using a local certificate for the qualified signature
For using a local certificate, the Firefox browser must be used. Chrome is not currently supported. Additionally, the Trust1Connector middleware must be installed, which can be downloaded at https://ds.t1t.io/v3_5/downloads/installer. If you are using MacOS on ARM, additional steps may be required. You can find more information about this in the
Trust1Connector documentation.
